This private residence at Bvlgari Residences 2 was replanned around the client’s way of living. The original apartment layout was reconsidered to create a longer spatial sequence, improve the relationship between rooms and give each part of the home a clearer purpose. A restrained palette of natural stone, oak, bronze, leather and linen brings continuity throughout, while bespoke detailing allows the interior to feel composed without becoming formal. The design is complete and currently under construction. The residence sits at Bvlgari Residences 2 on Jumeira Bay Island, Dubai.

Material Language
Natural stone, oak, bronze, leather and linen were selected to create continuity across the replanned residence. The palette is restrained but tactile, allowing changes in texture, reflection and warmth to distinguish each space without interrupting the longer spatial sequence.
The primary stone used throughout the residence to establish continuity and warmth.
A cooler companion stone employed in the wet areas and secondary thresholds.
A single seam of stone used sparingly as a moment of geological weight.
Natural oak flooring, laid in a herringbone pattern throughout the principal rooms.
Used at thresholds, hardware and framing details; a soft metal that records touch over time.
Warm-toned reflective surfaces integrated into joinery to extend light and depth.
A softly grained metal in a warm champagne tone, used at fine architectural details for a quiet, precise finish.
Undyed and loomstate; specified for drapery and upholstery for its acoustic softness.
Applied to select seating and headboards for its matte, tactile surface.
A full-grain leather used at chairs and small accessories; chosen for its natural patina.
