LANGE is an international residential interior design studio based in Dubai, designing private homes and apartments internationally. Every commission is personally led by Christiane and Tizian, bringing spatial planning, interiors, lighting, bespoke joinery, materials, furniture and art into one coherent design. Where the project requires, our involvement can continue through procurement, design supervision and final installation.
LANGE provides comprehensive interior and building design for private residences, boutique hospitality and considered commercial spaces. Based in Dubai and working internationally, the studio’s current portfolio is rooted in residential interior design and residential building design across the UAE. Depending on the commission, that involvement can begin with the design of the building itself and its spatial planning, and continue through materials, kitchens, bathrooms, bespoke joinery, lighting, furniture and final styling.
A home becomes coherent when every decision supports the way it is lived. Space, light, material and detail are developed together, allowing the interior to feel calm, intuitive and complete.

Every home begins with the people who will live in it. Through quiet, unhurried conversations we study routines, aspirations, relationships and the character of the place itself. The design grows from what we learn, not from a predetermined style.
This is the heart of every commission. Your home is developed as one coherent whole — space planning, interiors, lighting, ceilings, kitchens, bathrooms, bespoke joinery, materials, furniture, FF&E, art and objects, plus permitted exterior and terrace design. Each element is considered in relation to the others, so the result feels calm, intuitive and unmistakably yours.
The creative direction is developed into visualisations, detailed drawings, joinery and lighting plans, material schedules and full specifications. Every decision is refined and documented so the home is resolved on paper before it is built. For international commissions, this documentation provides a clear design framework for coordination with locally appointed architects, engineers and contractors. Where required, licensed architectural, engineering and authority submissions are undertaken in collaboration with external consultants.
Beyond the completed design, clients may appoint LANGE to remain involved through procurement, design supervision, installation and handover. The scope is adapted to the location, project team and needs of each commission.
When appointed to assist with delivery, the studio helps assemble or evaluate the team that will execute the design. Craftsmen, suppliers and construction partners are drawn from relationships developed over many years, chosen for capability, craftsmanship, reliability, suitability and long-term value — never lowest price or blind tendering.
Procurement is offered as a separate appointment. When included, supplier quotations are coordinated, orders placed, production tracked, deliveries scheduled and final installation overseen. Every selected piece is followed from workshop to room.
Design supervision is also a separate appointment. Where appointed, the studio acts as your independent design advocate throughout construction: reviewing the contractor's interpretation of the approved design, examining shop drawings, materials, samples and mock-ups, challenging unjustified substitutions and reviewing proposed variations before your approval. Critical stages are inspected, departures from the approved design are documented and their correction followed with the responsible contractor or specialist. Snagging and handover are included where those services form part of the appointment.
The contractor and appointed technical consultants remain responsible for construction methods, workmanship, statutory compliance and their contractual obligations. LANGE's role is to protect your interests and preserve the integrity of the approved design.
In Dubai this can involve close, regular site involvement; internationally it is delivered through periodic design reviews with the local project team, tailored to location and need.
Every LANGE commission is personally led by Christiane and Tizian throughout the design process. Where procurement or design supervision is additionally appointed, that same continuity continues through installation and completion.
