Introduction

This residence at Address Beach Resort in Jumeirah Beach Residence, Dubai, was transformed from an unfurnished apartment into a fully realised, live-in-ready home through furnishing, sourcing and styling rather than architectural intervention. Furniture, lighting, wallpaper, textiles and objects were selected as one restrained composition, allowing the coastal light and existing proportions of the apartment to remain central. A restored wooden cabinet more than a century old introduces history and character among the contemporary pieces, giving the home a sense of continuity rather than the appearance of being newly assembled.
